  • Speak only in French.
  • Raise your hand to speak.
  • Listen to the speaker.
  • Be polite and say hello, goodbye, please and thank you.
  • Do not touch objects in the classroom.

Code of Conduct

Respect

We all have a right to be respected. It is important that each member of the school community feels valued and respected, and that each person is treated fairly.
We are a compassionate community, whose values are based on mutual trust and respect for all.
This policy aims to promote an environment in which everyone feels happy, safe and confident,
so that we can live and work together harmoniously.

Behaviour

The school expects everyone to behave in a caring way towards others and we use our golden rules as a basis for our behaviour.

Golden rules
  • Be polite, gentle and kind to each other.
  • Be honest and act with integrity.
  • Be careful with property.
  • Respect each other’s differences.
  • To listen to each other.
  • Respect the fact that others are there to learn.
We like to do the following
  • Treat each other as we would like to be treated.
  • Answer when we are asked to do something.
  • Follow the instructions in case of a fire drill.
  • Walking in corridors and classrooms.
  • Store in the appropriate containers.
  • Use nice language.
  • Attend classes on time and with the right equipment.
  • Inform the school in case of absence.
  • Protect each other by reporting any concerns to a staff member.
  • To be congratulated for our good conduct and achievements.
This is not accepted under any circumstances
  • Damage to equipment.
  • Coarse language.
  • Persistent refusal to accept the rules and discipline of the school.
  • Verbal abuse of staff or students.
  • Physical assault on staff or students.
  • Bullying, misconduct, substance abuse or theft.
